We have several Mediabridge optical and HDMI cables in our system as well as a couple of Monster. There is no difference except you get to keep more of your own cash with Mediabridge. Luv 'Em!

Used to carry audio from PS3 to Yamaha Receiver. Works as expected, while connections seem solid.

I'm using this in conjunction with Mediabridge's Premium digital coaxial audio cable (also with a nylon sleeve) and a Cables-to-go "coaxial to optical" converter to transfer sound from my lcd tv to my reciever in high quality. i have a few Belken cables i paid $20 a piece at the store and this one is no different and looks better. jsut make sure you don't bend the cable too much at any point being that it's an optical cable and you don't want to break the fiber optic cable inside. I believe the bend radius must be greater then 15mm at the minumum. Since 15mm is about 0.60 inches (just over half an inch)... you should be good.

I ordered a 6 foot TOSLINK cable along with two each 6 foot HDMI and Component Mediabridge cables from Amazon. All of the Medibridge cables are high qaulity and very well built. The TOSLINK cable comes with end protectors that are securly attached to the cable so they don't get lost when removed from the ends. The HDMI cables came with connector-end protectors.

Great price, fast shipping and this optical digital audio cable works great. I used it to make the digital audio link from a new Sony Bravia LCD HDTV to my old-school 5.1 Onkyo surround sound system, as it was HSMI compatible. Super sound. The cable is very well made, well-shielded and durable. Highly recommended.
