Finally, Rechargeable Batteries That Has Shelf Life Close to Alkalines

I got gadgets and toys all around the house, so I constantly charging batteries to have them ready when I need them. There will be very little juice left if you put them in the shelf unused for a couple of months. A waste of time and energy. Hence, one of the biggest advancement in battery technology is the arrival of the new low discharge Nickel Metal Hydride batteries. This is another great step in helping the environment. I have very few left of the old batteries since I started to replace all of them with low discharge batteries. Eneloops and Duracell are 2 of the best of its kind.
Pros:
-Low discharge.
-Well constructed
-Conventional size and dimension. I had other batteries that I have to use a screwdriver to remove from my camera because it is fatter than other "AA's".
-Looks so sleek and sexy designwise
Cons:
-More expensive than ordinary NiMh
-Not available at many stores
-Maxes at around 2000-2100 mAh

Fantastic product !

I have been searching for a similar product like this for a long time. Other rechargeable batteries are of no use for me because I have to recharge it every single time when I need the batteries. The little one can't wait for 10 hours to play his toys. Sanyo eneloop doesn't have the same problem. I can just pick up the batteries and use it whenever my boy comes to ask for one. Perfect item! I would recommend all the parents to purchase a few to keep in their drawers.

Love the batteries, but the normal price is about half

You can get 4 AA batteries in a pack for $11 and 4 AAA batteries in a pack for $14. Not sure why his seller thinks they can get away with $50 for 6 AAs and 2 AAAs that everyone else will sell for about half (12 AAs + 4 AAAs - twice as many and same brand, same product - will run you $47 buying direct from amazon.com, and no shipping cost).
The best rechargeables

I just went on a 16 hour road trip with the kids. They used their Leapster and Didj all the way without needing to change batteries. I normally would have to go through several battery changes just going one direction. Excellent battery life.
