Well I really wanted to like this thing especially since i spent more money to buy this nicer version of other ipod alarm clocks, but its a total disappointment. This alarm is like a gamble whether or not the music on the ipod will play. I will say the back up beeping alarm does kick in and i've never overslept, but for whatever reason the music on the ipod wont play with the alarm. I guess if the music is low it wont play, but i like to wake to softer music. Also if you're a heavy sleeper better look elsewhere the music does not play loud enough for me to wake up even up on its highest level. During the day to listen to the music off this thing sounds really nice and good sound for a little speaker, but i bought it for the alarm clock music function and its failed.

I bought this iPod player for my daughter. She uses it for her iPod Touch. It's easy to use and sounds great!

I was very pleased with my overall experience with the iHome pivoting alarm clock. My 2nd generation iPod touch works perfectly with the unit and charges with no problems. The iPod fits snugly in the mount even with my silicon protective case still on! The pivoting functionality works flawlessly; the clock rotates instantaneously. The compact design enables the unit to be used on small nightstands with room to spare. This is a unique design that is unmatched by any other product out there for the iPod touch!

The sound from the speaker is adequate for what it's worth. You're not going to entertain a huge party with the output but it's more then enough for listening to music in your room, kitchen, bathroom or living room or watching a video on your touch.

I highly recomend the unit if you are looking for a compact and attractive design for your iPod touch!

I have been through 2 of these clocks in the last 4 months. The first I returned when the display quit functioning after 2 days. The 2nd worked for a couple of months but now the same problem. Avoid this model unless you want to deal with returns every xx days.

To be honest, this product was exactly what I was looking for, a small alarm clock that would also play and charge my iphone. I got it home and was happy for two days, until the clock display quit working correctly, now everything on the display is constantly garbled. Too much money for too little quality.
