Purchased this for my wife's Macbook Pro. Fits snug, well constructed, and retains Macbook's streamlined appearance.

No cons other than added weight, which is minimal.

Definitely recommend this product for consistent scratch protection and good looks.

The Speck see thru case is an excellent MacBook PROtector! I have a similar device for my iPod and it did so well, when I saw this product, I had to have it. If you are looking to protect your costly computer from dings, scratches, and scuffs, this is the way to do it.

to start off, the picture shown for this product is old. the case shipped to you doesn't have the bulky top. instead it is smooth all around...and it is hot!!!! I LOVE IT! I must say this was one of the best choices i've made. I am so proud of it. it EXCEEDED my expectations. All I can say is WOW!!! I got the pink. Ladies you will love it. it fits comfortably over the macbook. the apple logo light is seen through the case, which is exactly what i wanted. and i cant explain it but it has a certain glittery glow that is seen through the pink case. i believe it's because of the silver shiny body of the macbook but I love the look. Everywhere i go, people stare at it. Everyone ask me on how i got a pink apple laptop. They think it was made that way. i tell them it's only a case. it's great! I was hesitant about it but I am so glad i got it. Everyone at my college have a macbook, but i'm one of the first to have a macbook with color. I'm loving the attention. It's also good because somehow, my macbook always seems to get bumped and scratched. But with the case, it has been protected from a lot of stuff. I bumped it the other day and the laptop was protected. It has no cushions so if you drop it, that wouldn't be good but it does protect against scratches. Which for macbook pro's is a plus. for some reason, pro's tend to scratch easily. So the case is well worth it. Besides, who wouldn't want a pink mac. lol! =D

I got one of these direct from Speck for half off about 4 months ago and have loved every minute of it. It fits perfectly and looks great. A couple of days ago, I noticed a small break in mine. I called up Speck and they were very helpful. The replacement is already on it's way to me! Excellent customer service.

And to you foolish persons complaining because this case doesn't fit your brand-new MacBook Pros: READ THE DESCRIPTION! It clearly says this model DOES NOT FIT YOUR COMPUTER! This model is for the older MBPs. The current models use a different case! Stop screwing up the rating!

This is great protection. I was worried about heat, but no noticeable difference. Very easy to install! Highly recommended.
