Great set of speakers!

These speakers were really the only ones in their price range, so I wondered if they sounded inferior. In short they sound incredible. Comparatively speaking, they are a great bargain. They look and feel well constructed and I cannot believe the sound coming from them, it is fantastic. Well worth the price and highly recommended.

Perfect for the price

I'm a little picky (I have B&W speakers at the other house), but no audiophile by any means. I like to hear the rumbles from the sub and sounds whizzing by my ears when sitting on the couch. Just the basics!
This package was perfect - great price, easy setup, and I've had no problems with either the workmanship or quality of the sound.

kick butt
(5 out of 5) by AverageJoe on Jun 2, 2009bought these 6 months ago for a onkyo low end surround sound system and they kick butt!!! unreal sound for just over 100 bucks. even music sounds great. my wife, who usually doesn't care about things like this, even commented how good the sound was while watching a movie - just like the theater. these are a great deal!!

Good price/performace

Only one drawback, which isn't listed in the specs when you buy, is the sensitivity is real low. All this means is you need a little more power to drive them, which isn't bad if you have a receiver that can push a little more power without distorting the signals. This isn't an issue for our old receiver (100w x 5), it has no problems producing a good sound.
I also didn't use the included speaker wires, I used 100ft of 16/2 speaker wire, but this was more my preference than a necessary "upgrade".
