Excellent Backup
I bought this from Richard, and got amazing shipping (arrived two days from order date), and the shipping was free. I let my iPhone 3G run down to about the 10% warning level, hooked up the charger, and it brought it to 100% and I left it there, let the iPhone just trickle charge off it while it ran, with the screen on, full brightness. I got about another 15 minutes to a half hour before the battery backup called it quits.
That is excellent, and exactly what I wanted. I don't need it to be a backup that lasts me weeks, I just want to be able to get at least a few extra hours out of it in certain situations.
So excellent job, buy this thing! It holds more than a lot of the others out there I researched, and is the same cost, and free shipping.

Great Product
Bought two of them for long flights and travel in general. Great product, excellent quality, easily recharges a dead or dying 3G and does it quickly. Not only can you continue whatever you are doing by just plugging the battery in but you can also charge both battery and phone at the same time (still connected together) once you reach an outlet, just connect the included smart charger. Pretty happy with them, would buy again and would reccomend. Great fitted plastic cap that keeps all dust and dirt out of the connector. Friends think they are pretty cool.

Best Back Up Battery for iPhone/iPod
Have you ever had the experience when you were waiting all day for a call and when it finally arrived---your battery slowly dwindled and then *POOF* ---gave out? Read on... Internet browsing on an iPhone is a fantastic convenience but it consumes lots of battery power. I was having low battery warnings by late afternoons and still needed the use of my iPhone during the evening. What to do? I purchased a Richard Solo backup battery and solved my dilemma. This is a terrific addition to an already amazing device and I've just about doubled my battery power. By night time you can charge both the iPhone and the battery at once (with the included cable) and next morning you are ready to go with double the power once more. I keep the Richard Solo in my briefcase and it's always ready if needed. I don't always need it but when I do---it's there. This is called "Peace of Mind"... Thank you Richard Solo! Fits both 2G and 3G iPhones plus iPods (except Shuffle). Buy with confidence. I'm glad I did.

Best In Class
Wow!
Great things come in small packages and this Battery is Great! Easy to charge, keeps a charge for extended periods, and the protective plastic covers work very well-especially the plastic device that keeps the unit from twisting while connected to my iPhone. I found the multiple methods of charging to be most helpful. One may charge from a wall outlet, cig., lighter in a car, USB and with little trouble. A minor point: keeping track of the devices will require a wee bag or sorts-it is worth it. Solo cautions care with hook up to iphone & ipod. Go slow to go fast and use the plastic connector-it works well.

Really handy to have.
RichardSolo company put some thought into designing this battery. It fits in your pocket, the plastic cover fits well and protects the connector. I use it to charge my ipod touch. It works well and charges it as described.
The only thing I would add is a chart explaining the led status. I printed a label and added my own.
