The 2ms rate is the fastest I've found and is great for fast moving video; games, sports, etc. Colors are vibrant and overall picture is fantastic.
A year or so later and I have yet to see any pixels burn out. I have absolutely no complaints (I know, half the reviews on the web for this monitor rate it lower because of the difficulty involved putting the stand together. So what if the stand doesn't slide on easily? It will go on and once it does, it's not like you'll need to be taking it off and on again).
I loved this monitor so much that I just bought myself a similar model (Samsung 2233BW) for the holidays. I plan to use it to extend the desktop on my laptop.
Stick with SAMSUNG, you can't go wrong.
