(3 out of 5) by Dr Tom Clark on Dec 3, 2009 (MD)I have repeatedly tested the capacity of the Tenergy "2600 mAh" AA cells using both a LaCrosse and Maha smart chargers. Of the dozen in this bundle, all 12 measure at 2000-2100 mAh capacity. Other brand 2600 mAh cells check out in the 2500-2600 range.
On the same metric, the AAA cells show about 1000 mAh.
The cells are quite good as 2000 mAh capacity. Just don't believe the 2600 mAh hype!

These batteries are fakes that should not be sold, especially on amazon

After full charge, these batteries are only at 80%, just sitting a few hours with no use, they fall to 60%. I used them in a head lamp, which is VERY easy on enegery usuage, the batteries were dead after a couple hours of use.
The batteries arrived with no packaging, no documentation, no warranty information, no contact information. After finally contacting the company that peddles these, they offered a "replacement". Well sorry, cost of shipping, driving to the post office, just not worth it to get a useless product replaced.
Avoid these, I should have know they were too cheap to be true, cheap chinese fakes.

(5 out of 5) by BWX on May 21, 2009I'm diggin' this set of batteries. I am using a La Crosse Technology BC-900 AlphaPower Battery Charger to charge them, I'm using them in remotes, bike headlights, etc.. Charger and batteries working great, that's about it.

long lasting high capacity batteries

These batteries last so long I sometimes forget if I've changed them recently.
Get a good quality charger (NOT a cheapo fast or trickle charger, one with a soft cycle and that uses an IC to measure capacity) and these batteries and you'll never need to buy batteries again. Great product... finally, rechargeable batteries that work!!
