I recently bought the Smooth Mocha Executive leather case for my Amazon Kindle. (I had previously bought the marbled red version of the case, but it was too red for me.)
I LOVE THIS CASE! The leather is a good quality, the fit and color are just what I wanted. I also bought the e-luminator light, which fits perfectly and makes the case even more functional for low-light conditions.
I was a bit reluctant to spend over $40.00 for my Kindle, but eventually broke down and don't regret it at all.
My Kindle fits much more securely than with the original case, and the overall feel and look is so much more professional and handsome.
I'm an attorney who reads his Kindle in court when waiting for cases to be called. Reading with my Smooth Mocha case is discreet and comfortable and really allows me to get even more use out of my already much-used Kindle.

For those of you who gave this product a lousy review because you bought it for the Kindle 2 might want to take a closer look at the product description next time. It clearly states that it is designed for the Kindle 1 and clearly has a Kindle 1 and NOT a Kindle 2 in all the pictures.

I gave this to my wife and she really likes it. It fits the Kindle a lot better than the one that came w/ the Kindle. It looks good and is well made. Can't go wrong with this case for your Kindle.

This product is very well made and performs its function admirably: it securely holds the Kindle within its reinforced covers, and provides a comfortable platform for reading in virtually any position. When the cover is folded back, the tab can be tucked out of the way or inserted into its socket for added stability. I did find the elastic pen holder to be a visual and tactile distraction (I hold the Kindle in my left hand with the cover folded back, and my thumb sometimes rubs on it a bit); visually, it wouldn't retreat into the background, and it might have helped were it colored gray to match the cover interior. I was pleased to remove it altogether, to no ill effect. Worth the price, for sure.

I'm very glad I bought this, as it has 4 secure corners to insert Kindle into. Still small enough to carry in purse or baggage withput having to worry. Nice looking, allover good buy
