You won't be disappointed with this one

What can you say about a laser pointer that's not already been said? This is my first green laser. In a word...WOW! Red lasers are for pointing at charts. Green lasers are for pointing at mountains! I've tested this one on a long, lonely, empty highway late at night and have clocked a range of over a mile. And it looks as if it could have gone more with plenty of remaining brightness. This unit seems to be well made and sturdy. It uses standard AAA batteries that came included and everything came in a nice felt lined box as if it were a fine piece of jewelry.

Awesome

(5 out of 5) by Siv Montgomery on Oct 18, 2008
THis laser is awesome. The green is super bright, and it is easy to use. The range is incredible. at least 5X brighter than a standard red laser. I have not had it for very long, so I cant comment on battery life, or durability, but I presume that it is pretty durable, but I would say, like all lasers, they need to be taken care of to keep them functional as long as possible.

Veryyy Visable beam at night!!!

(5 out of 5) by Guadalupe G. Diaz on Oct 18, 2008
WELL i certaily was excited when my laser got to my mail box. I Was pretty excited when i first tried it, i did see a slight beam but it was not what i was looking for. Later on the night I pointed it at the night sky. It was amazing, The beam was visible. The beam really stands out when someone else has it and is pointing it in your direction. WELL worth the cash i spent on it. Im glad i bought it. This uses AAA batteries very well. The batteries last very long.

Cons: Wish the beam was much more visible in the light.

Good Performance, Poorly Made

(1 out of 5) by Alan H. Nadel on Oct 12, 2008
This laser worked beautifully, providing a nice tight visible beam for pointing out objects in the night sky. Only problem was that the push-button switch broke after 6 months of use.

Great for the firs three weeks

(3 out of 5) by James Hopp on Sep 10, 2008 (Bucketheadland, OK)
I love this little thing, except for the fact that it looses intensity within a couple weeks. It worked great for the first three weeks, then it's like a little crappy laser pointer you buy at Spencers that breaks in the first 10 hours you have it. I changed the batteries to fresh new Duracells and the same thing happened. Not Too Happy With It. I give it three stars; one for each week it worked well. Get one of the more expensive higher power lasers they'll probably work better. =]
