This laser worked beautifully, providing a nice tight visible beam for pointing out objects in the night sky. Only problem was that the push-button switch broke after 6 months of use.

Do not be fooled that this is a powerful laser. It is simply average to below average in power output. The reason for the poor rating is that although they advertise an LED flashlight and a optical cloth, they were no where to be seen. Although I don't really need either, it is deceptive and misleaded to misadvertise. But back to the laser pointer. It is just as powerful as the cheaper red laser pointers I have used in the past. I am not even sure this will have much use in a room pointing on a lit screen making a presentation. I'm not sure where they get the idea that it is astronomy grade or for the military. It just doesn't have the power to present in big rooms.

This product worked exactly as promised. The laser had an extremely long range. It would be great for long distance use but keep in mind that the green laser is really intense and not suitable for up close use. I bought this product for presentations, and had to return it because it was too intense of a beam. But the laser pen was very comfortable and well designed.

I got this laser to play around with and discovered my dog loves to chase it. The beam is bright and can be seen at night when first turned on but after about 5-10 seconds of prolonged use the power output drops. This is especially noticeable at night when the beam is bright at first and then almost disappears.

I have had my 5mw green laser pointer for about a week now and am really impressed with it. Looks 20-30 times brighter than 5mw red pointer. Even the batteries that came with it are good. The visible beam is awesome as well, you get great target aquisition at night. I use it at work and at home. A co-worker has one as well and he says his still works after going through the wash cycle! Great product & Great BUY!!
