Why say that there is an LED flashlight and micro fiber cloth included when there are not? I just wanted the laser, but have to downgrade them for not sending what was advertised.

The laser, while it occasionally flickers a little, is very bright. It is so bright that in the 40 person classroom where I usually lecture it is distracting to the students!

I recommend this pointer for larger halls and outdoor use.

THis laser is awesome. The green is super bright, and it is easy to use. The range is incredible. at least 5X brighter than a standard red laser. I have not had it for very long, so I cant comment on battery life, or durability, but I presume that it is pretty durable, but I would say, like all lasers, they need to be taken care of to keep them functional as long as possible.

I bought this to point to stars and constellations. The laser is OK, but not great. It works well in a completely dark sky, but if there is even a little light (light pollution, moon or already set sun) performance drops off. Also, the laser does not have a consistent beam. Sometimes the beam is strong, other times it is very faint. It also drains batteries extremely fast. For $35, if you understand the limitiations, its not bad. But if you want something more reliable go elsewhere - I will be looking for another.

when it works, its amazing. but unless the (rechargable) batteries are completely full, then the dot goes from super bright to kinda dull almost instantly. the button had a little to do with that too. too often it was nothing but a tiny pinhole that could barely be seen in the palm of your hand.
