Good gigs for the price, this is compact and functions well. No issues with durability.
The USB component is a little awkward, having a bare male component without the usual sheath to guide it in to the computers USB port - infrequently this makes it challenging to insert inti the port.

These thumb drives are so small they are easy to lose. For several weeks, I thought I had lost the second of two I bought. Then, on loading our washing machine, I noticed a little tail sticking out below the agitator. I pulled on it, and it came off, but not before the little Corsair thumb drive stuck its head out.

Imagine my surprise when I tested it and was still able to read all the files on it. I also loaded this comment on it and could read it back to copy into this field.

I don't know how many wash cycles the drive survived, but it was wedged so hard under the agitator that it must have survived at least one cycle. Maybe I won't trust it with my most important files (not before checking write/read for each one!), but it sure seems indestructible.

The only reason for not giving it five stars is the risk of losing such a small thing. Maybe I should have kept it on my key chain.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great product, especially for the price, but it seems like it could get broken easily. The USB connector on it slides out of the case to plug into your computer (and retracts when you're finished), but it's not in a metal enclosure like a normal USB plug would be - it's just a piece of plastic that you stick into the bottom of your USB port. It seems like this connector is also where your data is stored; if you accidently knocked it with a little force, it seems like it might break off.

In my use, it has worked without a problem. Aside from my fear that the connector may break off if I'm not careful, I don't have any negatives about it. An upside to its size is you can put it on a keychain without it being too clunky.

I was looking for something to replace an old 256MB flash drive. I wanted something that didn't have a cap (which is easy to lose) and had a key chain hole. Luckily I found that this little drive was just released. I have used it now for a couple weeks and like it's small size yet still providing 4GB of space. I wish the rubber hole were a little stronger (if pulled too hard it could tear), but I'm making sure not to grab my key chain by just the drive so it doesn't pull on the hole too much. Overall I really like this little drive.

So far so good.

Compact size, durability and fast to boot, what more can you ask for.

Best part of all for those on a budget is the low price.

Highly recommend it!!!
