Not quite what I expected

(4 out of 5) by E. Wilson on Nov 5, 2009 (FL, USA)
Product looks, and works as described for the most part. The quality seems a little cheap, almost like a generic product. I have one of the tiniest digital cameras available (Canon PowerShot SD780 IS), and it supports the weight just fine. I wouldn't use it if the camera was much larger (most smallish point-and-shoots should work). I like that the small top piece can stay connected to the camera, while not using the tripod. If you want to use the tripod, simply click it into place. No real complaints.

Easy and Fun

This is exactly as described. Works on flip video as well as conventional camera.

Good

This tripod grips to pretty much anything! Its such a fun new toy! I took so many picture with it last night and they all came out very well! It's small, but that's also good because it's easier to grip it to things. It was also very cheap! I'm satisfied! I just hope it doesn't break anytime soon, it seems a bit fragile. Nothing has happened at all so far tho!

Just work's as described

(2 out of 5) by Ashok Reddy Yerasi on Jun 16, 2009 (MAINE, USA)

I know that this product is meant only for Point & shoot cameras,
But I realized only after I bought this that, this little piece is not worth the $10+ bill, it can hold your small camera if & only if the camera is a real small one & also this thing doesn't feel like more sturdy to hold the camera at a complicated angle like getting stuck to a Chair rod, or being suspended...

It works fine only when the Tripod is positioned straight on Ground or Table, If I want to use it Straight, why should I buy a Gorillapod, I would rather Buy a regular Tripod worth $10, which can stretch straigh out..

I could give this back, but given the price of the item, & paying the return shipping, it's no worth to send back..

Any way's If I knew about this product earlier, I wouldn't have bought this, rather would buy Targus Flexible Tripod(similar to Gorillapod) at the Walmart for $18, which can Hold upto a SLR camera...
May be I will just dump this or donate to a friend & buy the Targus Stuff

Screw it into the base on your camera and you're ready to go with a compact, easy to use, super-functional tripod. Good stuff!
