T190 a good value

I've had this model monitor for about a year when I decided I liked it so well that I would buy a second. Set up with my Asus motherboard is as easy as PnP gets. The resolution is quite nice and the color balance between the two is identical. Great with videos, photo editing and of course, text. They are smaller than a lot of available monitors, but perfect for my limited space. Price is slightly higher than lower end models, but I think worth it.
Disappointed

One of the reasons that I bought this monitor was because of the $[...] rebate offer. Twelve weeks and numerous phone calls later, still no rebate check. Customer service in India keeps apologizing and keeps saying next week. What is a person to do?
As for the monitor. Great color. I have a major issue with the touch sensitive on/off button. If you are in a slightly dark enviroment it is impossible to see.
I do not see any more Samsung products in my future.
Great Monitor

I have had this monitor for several months now and it has been working great. There have been complaints about it not tilting, but that is not a feature that I needed because it sits a good angle coming out of the box. The picture and color are great. Samsung has always made great LCD monitors and TVs and this one is one of the great products they make. I would definitely recommend this monitor or any other Samsung products like it.
Samsung T190 Monitor Rocks NOTE: UPDATE 7/2009

ORIGINAL:
Got this baby from TechForLess. Refurbished. Initial monitor ehibited some pixel abberation mid-screen, so I notified TechForless and they dispatched a replacement to me along with return-shipping for the first one. The replacement worked great, but I needed driver software which Samsung didn't include (boo...). Again, TechForLess went the extra mile and both e-mailed AND called me to resolve the driver issue. They obtained the driver via download on CD-Rom (which my computer was choking on for some reason) and sent it to me.
For quality products, I still think Samsung ranks right up there. For quality retailers, TechForLess is the way to go.
UPDATE: OK, Drop the 5 stars. This replacement Samsung monitor DIED 7/2009. Now, it WAS as refurb and it WAS out-of-warantee, BUT it's still dead. Screen would come on and then die in 20-30 seconds. Total BLACK screen. Can't return it, so either repair$$$$ or pitch it. So BUYER BEWARE. If it's a bonafide refurb, seek an extended warantee. Maybe a year or better. As for Tech-for-Less, you'll have to weigh these factors and do your own judgement call! As for me....I'd look elsewhere. Since then, replaced with a really nice LG 21" monitor from another vendor.
What a deal

This Samsung monitor not only outperforms every other monitor in its class, it looks stunning. I bought it for my son who is a game fanatic. It was he that pointed out the differences in shading and lack of motion blur. I own two other Samsung TVs and the picture on them is unsurpassed. I am not a guy that goes for micro investigation of the tech aspects. I go for what I can see, the price I pay, and the lasting quality of the equipment. This monitor more than fulfills all of the above requirements fully.
