This is a nearly perfect product. Visually attractive design, excellent video quality. Sound is not particularly good. At least there is an audio output through a headphone jack on the side of the unit, so I could connect a small stereo system. Much better sound now.

I would tell my own family and friends that this is a excellent TV for the kitchen or kids room.

recently bought a camper/trailer for my son and I to go to on weekends. Campgrounds have everything now including cable tv hook ups. I was looking for an inexpensive LCD with good features. All the "cheap" ones in the stores are just that, very cheap with little or no contrast and a very poor picture. I have had Samsung products in the past and have been pleased. At the time I purchased the Samsung T200HD they offered a $50 mail in rebate on top of a very good price to begin with. Very happy with all the feature and picture quality. There is no comparison between this and the "no name" brands at retail stores.

This is a great option if you have a small space, like our kitchen undercounter area, and want an alternative to the higher price Samsung TV. It looks great and has all of the same features as the same sized Samsung TV at a considerably lower price. The picture and response rate are outstanding. The base is sturdy and though it will not swivel, the monitor is light it can easily be lifted to be repositioned. The volume is more than what one needs, although there is not much bottom end (limited low frequency response) so plan on tweaking the equalization to improve things a bit. Too bad, because otherwise this would be one PERFECT monitor!

The TV has a great picture, but the sound is almost unusable. Had to buy speakers for computer and hook them up using the head phone connection. We have found the same problem with all Samsung flat screen LCD TV's.
