I just received this amazing product this afternoon and am completely blown away by its excellent design, small size and simplicity of use. I plugged it in, turned it on and within minutes the radio automatically linked with my router. After that, its just a matter of merely following the easy to read instructions on the blue LCD screen. The radio comes with a remote that makes finding and changing stations a piece of cake.

One of my favorite features is the USB port on the front of the radio. If you download your favorite radio programs from the internet as I do, you can transfer the show to your USB Flash Drive. Then, plug it in and enjoy! I admit I like Coast To Coast AM with George Noory - what I don't like are all the long commercial breaks and not getting my sleep. Now I can listen to this show without commercial breaks anytime I wish away from my computer.

A pleasant surprise is found within the alarm system menu. You can choose to wake-up to FM music, your favorite WiFi station, something you recorded on a flash drive or you can select the Buzzer function. Why? Sometimes your WiFi provider can go down and with the Buzzer setting you will be assured of a wake-up. The surprise is the Buzzer feature sounds like a fine Austrian music box. What a delightful way to be awakened to the sound of a lovely music box melody. This is a small item to be sure, but the attention to detail is just another reason why I love this exceptional radio.

Like a lot of people, I have hobbies which take me outside to a workshop or work area. Now while in my workshop, I can listen to radio shows produced from countries around the world without radio fade or distortion. How I always hated when a show was getting to the good part and bam, the signal fades out. Well, those days are gone. You now enjoy perfect reception regardless of where the show originates.

By the way, has your local radio station dropped a national show that you enjoyed or have they moved it to a time that makes listening inconvenient? No sweat - you will find your show on another city's radio station thanks to the simple and enjoyable menu system on this unit and usually at an acceptable listening time. You control what you want to hear - not your local broadcaster. Nice.

Folks, sorry if I sound like a kid at Christmas. I've been a radio listener all my life and this is the first time I believe I own the perfect radio. I'm certain you will also love this small, powerful, easy to use radio that makes listening fun. Take care and enjoy!

I have been looking around for an internet radio product for a while. This product was reasonably priced and came with all of the features I was looking for.

Of course, most important feature was the ability to access the thousands of internet radio stations. I listen to alot of stations from overseas (brings back sweet memories). All of that without paying any monthly charges... I love it.

When I open the box and turn on the product, it automatically started to scan for an internet connection. For someone like me, not very technically inclined, it was great. I was able to start listening to my favorite stations in minutes.

This product is now my constant companion when I am in the kitchen working or in the living room relaxing or just anytime I need some music in the house.

I saw a video review of this product on CNET. So, I decided to give it a try. The thought of being able to access thousands of radio stations, and NOT have to pay for a monthly fee, was too tempting.

The product worked right out of the box. I turned it on and it started to look for access points that it can connect to. In about 20 seconds, it found my wireless AP. It connected to the AP with no problems.

The user interface was very self-explanatory. I was able to start listening to radio stations around the country and the world in no time.

I also found out that this product is able to connect to other computers on the network and play music from there. That is a pretty neat feature considering I have many many songs stored on my computer.

Now my entire family can pick their favorite radio stations by genre or by location. I have family members from other parts of the world. This is especially sentimental for them.

The quality of the music is fine. It does not replace the stereo system in your living room, of course. But it does have audio out, which could be connected to a better sound quality stereo/entertainment system.

Over all, I am very satisfied with the product.

This is actually the best radio I ever owned! As the ad says, it really does get 1000's of stations--both foreign and from the U.S. The sound is also very clear.

I grew up listening to short wave radio, and this radio has it beat by a mile! Unlike a short wave radio, there is no static, or hit or miss reception--only crystal clear reception from EVERYWHERE!

Here are the CONS and PROS about the radio.

CONS--The lighted screen is too bright. It is in my bedroom and the light bothers my wife at night. The light can be turned off (which I do). When you turn off the light, you unfortunately cannot see the time from this clock radio. So in the morning, I turn the light back on.

The other con for this radio is that I could not access my music from my computer. For some reason, I could not get this feature to work. I called tech support from Aluratek and they spent much time with me on this problem but could not solve it. They think that my router-modem might be of a type that prevents access. My router-modem is a Verizon Fios type.

PROS--The pros definitely outweigh the cons. I bought this radio for its internet access and it doesn't disappoint at all! The sound from this unit is amazing--crystal clear.

There are way more than enough stations to listen to, with more stations added every day. You can save your "favorite" stations to a favorite folder for easy access too.

Setting up the unit was actually easy too. The only caveat I have about the set up is to make sure that you have the network name and WEP Key before you start. If you have this info, you can connect the radio to the internet wirelessly in a matter of minutes--very easy!

In conclusion, I just love this radio. I might even buy another one for another room in my house!

This internet radio was an excellent buy and at nearly 40% off the regular price. No software or computer to worry about once you set it up, and it already has WiFi built in. I just turn on the radio to listen to any of over 11,000+ internet radio stations that I want to listen to. Ater buying the first one and trying it, I bought two more for christmas gifts for the family and they really enjoy them and use them daily. This is my second brand of internet radio and there is really no comparison as this radio is far superior in function, capability, and performance. Its a 5 star rating from me.
