I tried to avoid getting a LCD monitor. I had not seen one with the clarity and resolution of my CRT close to my price range. OK, so I'm a dinosaur but these old eyes are touchy. I finally found one that was priced reasonable enough that I decided to give it a try. I`m glad I did, although I still use my CRT on my old box. The resolution, clarity, and color on the X193W Acer is awesome. It is as good or better than the other LCD monitors I looked at costing 50-100 dollars more. I had read a lot about dead pixels and was worried that this would be a problem. Not so. It arrived in perfect condition. The on-off and other switches have a different feel but no biggie. You get used to them. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants quality for a decent price.

This is an awesome monitor. I am using this monitor for the last 6 months. So far no problems or any dead cells. I really like this. The picture is crystal clear and response time is good. The controls are handy and base is very strong. I would recommend this monitor to any one.

I just upgraded my computer by moving to an LCD moniter. I had purchased the Acer X193W 19" Moniter from a local retailer. so far it performs very superb. clear and sharp imagine. well worth the investment. first time buyer to buy the brand Acer. Very pleased with the results.

Easy setup, phenomenal resolution and I couldn't have asked for a better price. Two thumbs up

The product came out of the box with a rather displeasing smell. Even after a few weeks, the whole are smells of this putrid plastic-chemical smell. :( Photos and images are distorted on the wide-screen monitor, and I have been unable to find anything in the monitor properties or preferences to fix the problem.
