Good for PC, even better for xbox 360 and PS3.

(5 out of 5) by J. House on Sep 2, 2009
Look around for pricing, because you can get this monitor for cheap...
...and for the price, I found it to be a pretty good computer monitor, however, I decided to play my xbox 360 on it... and its amazing. Now I primarily use it for that.

Conclusion:
Great for multipurpose use (monitor\TV\XBOX\p3)

Buy it if you ever take your xbox over to a friends house and they don't have 2 hdtvs.

Beware of Dangerous Benq monitors

(1 out of 5) by D. Schillinger on Aug 2, 2009 (Augusta, Georgia)
Anyone considering a BenQ monitor should know that this company makes dangerous products that are a fire hazard. Twice in the past 24 months, I've had a BenQ monitor catch fire. Thank God we are in the habit of turning our monitor off when not in use. Because, if this had happened while we were asleep or away, it could have burned the house down. The real crime here is that the unit was returned to BenQ for repair/replacement after the first fire. They (allegedly) fixed it and sent it back...only to catch fire again. This company obviously has a quality control problem and no concern for consumer safety. Buyer beware.

this company is a joke

(1 out of 5) by Kenneth Ruszkiewicz on Jul 6, 2009
they said they sent it but they didnt then they tried to offer me something else. i tried contacting them but they never answered til i got amazon staff involved. they then where calling me by a name that was not mine here on amazon but then would quickly send me a different email with my right name directly to me so that there was no record of it here. i will never order from these people again and i defantly will not advise anyone else to order from them unless your looking for grief and wasted time.

Great Monitor

(5 out of 5) by Terrill E. Valentine on Jun 27, 2009 (Seattle, WA USA)
This monitor works great for people who like to game. I play games such as MMO's and intense fps's like unreal tournament 2004. I sense no input lag whatsoever. I also use the monitor for my xbox 360 and it works great for that too with nice hd quality. TN or not a TN panel, I really don't care as I am usually sitting very near the monitor looking straight on so no problems there. Even when I view at an angle, the loss of picture is not bad at all.

All in all a very good monitor and I'm glad I upgraded from my standard 19".

Best Investment I've made in a very long time!

I totally agree with "RobFactory", that TN panels are great for their money and usually seem to get bad reviews for the fact of the viewing angle disadvantage; but seriously, who would use their monitor from a different angle. Even if the viewing angle was superb at a different angle it's just impractical; however, I'd understand if you were a designer how that would be an advantage in some ways, but if not then there is no reason to complain... seriously..

Anyway, got this monitor about three weeks ago! I love this monitor to death, it's the best monitor I've had so far! I can finally connect my TV box, my PS3, my Xbox360, and computer all to one screen = ) It's so convenient with the extra DVI connection port!

Pro:
-1920x1200, awesome picture clarity, quality and contrast (16:10)
-All the supports: DVI, D-Sub, HDMI
Cons:
-Maybe they could have a different color options.

Overall:
Great monitor, got it for around $340 dollars, and I don't regret it at all, in fact as the title mentions: it's the best $340 dollars I've invested on a monitor before!
