... because you'll lose it. It refused to stay attached to my a300 - even the slightest bump from my cheek dislodged it, and it was gone for good within a week or so of purchase. Maybe a few small bits of black electrician's tape would have helped keep it in place. However, my main issue was that the protector for the a300 has a tab on either side (unlike the one shown), and it crowded the left side of the controller button to within a mm or so, making it virtually impossible for me to press the left arrow with my admittedly big fingers. I won't buy another one of these, instead I'll try the press-on protector sheets.

Item is not as pictured. Does not have a tab on top and bottom as pictured. Falls off when you touch it. Good idea, not a good product.

nice idea but poorly executed. the lcd proctor works in the way of preventing scratches and the possible Puncture, but it offend falls off and reduces the quality of the screen and dust can slip between the Protector and the lcd.if you are hiking or plan being very rough on the screen and want to prevent Punctures buy it. but if you just want to prevent scratches buy a Reusable LCD Screen Protector like the iKross 3-Pack Premium Reusable LCD Screen Protector just cut to fit.

Sony Alpha 100 & 200 owners beware that this particular LCD Protective Cover shown does not go on a Sony Alpha 100 are 200 camera but in essence the model # PCK-LH3AM fits the Sony Alpha 300 & 350 because the LCD can be moved away from the camera body while the Sony Alpha 100 & 200 LCD are fixed to the camera body. When I purchased the PCK-LH3AM I looked at the camera LCD cover shown by Amazon.com and assumed that was the LCD Protective Cover I thought I was purchasing. Upon opening the box and removing the LCD cover I noticed it had locking clips on the left and right side of the plastic cover with a notch to fit only on the top of the camera below the view finder. So not to go through the confusion of returning the LCD cover and waiting for reimbursement to purchase the PCK-LH2AM LCD cover for the 100-200 series. All Sony Alpha series camera's from 100 to 350 look alike but I think Amazon.com should have posted a better picture of the Alpha 300 are 350 camera with the LCD moved away from the camera with the cover on it not to confuse the buyer. Amazon.com took back the incorrect one I purchased without a hitch and I am in the process of buying the correct one this time. All I can say is do a little more research and not put total trust in the pictures your looking at, they can be deceiving not intentionally but not revealing the entire picture so to speak. I will rate the cover a 5 when I get the correct one, and again you cannot beat Amazon.com prices 80% of the time anywhere in your local shopping area. I just wished I had the correct cover the first time and not having to go through the added time and expense of sending back a item i couldn't use. This is a 50% my fault and 50% Amazon.com fault. I bet they have had more than one return on this item for people who own the Sony Alpha 100-200 series camera and hopefully will change the picture in the near future.
