I've been through three of the cases that originally ship with the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition. The problem: their belt clips keep breaking off when I get in and out of cars, sit in certain types of chairs, etc. This case solved the problem! It fits nicely in your pocket, briefcase or purse and although I wasn't sure I would like to carry the BlackBerry in my pocket, I actually now prefer that to having it clipped to my belt. The brown leather looks great with the black color of the device and it softens up after a few weeks of use. Contains a proximity sensor like the original case, so the device is aware of when it's been placed in the case. An excellent value compared to the price of this pocket case elsewhere. Shipping was extremely fast.

This case fits my 8820 perfectly and is not too thick for pocket use. I typically store my BB in my front pocket that this case allows me to do so without being uncomfortable or showing off a noticeable bulge. The BB branding looks nice and the outer leather material looks classy. The inside is relatively high-density foam that won't scratch your BB. Overall a much more classy alternative to the rubber sleeves for those that don't want a phone on their hip.

The pouch is an awesome solution for people who hate having their phone hanging from their belt. It keeps it from calling while in your pocket, and keeps the phone in great condition.

Only gave it 4 stars because I couldn't find it in black. The quality and appearance are good and just as I would have hoped for.

I really like the quality of this case. It looks so elegant and modern. Recommended to all owners of BB8800.
