We wanted a pink DVD player for our daughter's room and although it is pink, it lacks as a DVD player. It plays standard DVDs, but cannot play most DVD-R discs which is what we use. As you can see in the picture, the player only has 3 buttons; none of which is a power button. Pressing any of those 3 buttons will turn the player on, but the only way to turn it off is with the remote control. The remote control is very small and very hard to read the labels for the buttons. Definitely would not buy it again. We are currently looking for a different pink DVD player to replace this device.
lovely paperweight
This product was a pretty pink waste of money. Half of my DVDs it wouldn't even recognize. The rest would freeze during play and I had to unplug to the player and replug it to even get them out. I haven't been able to play a single DVD even half way through on it yet.
worked good for the week it worked
Got this for my daughter's birthday. It worked for about a week and stopped. Took it in to the shop to have it checked out only to be told the laser quit working on it. Can't return it because I no longer have the box and ordered it online.
memorex dvd
this was an exceptional value and plays wells - very fast shipping from vendor - I recomment this for a childs playroom if you do not need bells and whistles on a DVD player

Super, super basic - need NEW TV to use - NO place for external devices like video game consoles
I ordered this DVD player as a birthday gift to myself as my old player has been going downhill for months now. Unfortunately, I had it packed back up and ready to return less than an hour after opening it.
The player has NO outlet to connect an older television - just the digital outlets for new model televisions and a coaxial cable outlet.
Player has NO outlet for connecting a television antenna or cable TV.
Player has NO outlets for external devices like a Nintendo Wii or other video game system.
I suppose it *might* be decent if you can get it hooked up, but it was lacking so many components I never got that far.
