This is a great LCD TV!!! It has an amazing picture right out of the box.
The menu has numerous options for adjusting everything you could ever want to adjust.
The Sony Bravia HDMI sync with other Sony products is great because when you put a DVD in a Sony DVD player it automatically turns the TV on and sets it to the correct input and the controls are all there on the remote.

This TV has lots of inputs and has a collar on back of the stand to hold all of the cables out of sight when looking at the TV. The PC input is great in itself but when you add in the picture-in-picture you can browse the internet and watch TV at the same time.

The delivery was perfect. They called 3 days earlier than expected and showed up within the first hour of the 4 hour window I was given. They came in took the TV out of the box and placed it on the stand (it definitely takes 2 people to do this) and turned it on to make sure it worked. They even offered to take the box and the trash away with them.

In conclusion I would definitely recommend this TV because of it's features, picture, and PRICE ($40 cheaper than any store in my area, no taxes, free delivery).

Two years ago I bought a 40" 720p Olevia TV on line for $950 and thought it was a good deal. Until it blew out a power chip and turned to junk on Christmas eve. This time I was looking for a name brand with great support and I haven't been disappointed with Sony. Their on-line chat for questions is real-time and very helpful. And the TV is great. Amazon's price gave me a important upgrade (KDL-46V4100) for the same price as the KDL-46S4100) which was being sold locally - and the free delivery with their white glove service brought it to my house (Durango is pretty remote) and did the initial set up - for which local stores wanted as much as $65 extra. The TV is great and with a Sony Bravia-sync'ed upgrading DVD ($79) we get 1080p video which makes the Blu-ray issue moot, for us anyway.

After weeks of research this TV won my vote. I then looked for the best price monitoring several internet sites (too many to mention) and visited our local brick and mortar electronic discount stores. Be careful, there are many shady electronics stores on the internet that have offers too good to be true, that's because they are, so do your research. Amazon had the best price with the best reputation. Delivery was fast and efficient. Don't expect too much from the "white glove delivery service" but it is free afterall. TV has exceeded my expectations with great picture and sound. Very easy to install. Only drawback is the stand that is provided is not very sturdy, definitely suggest a wall mount or tying off the tv as instructed in the manual, especially if you have small kids in the house. I am very pleased with my purchase.

First let me say that I have 5 kids (4 teenagers) in the house, so trying to watch our 60" HD Sony SXRD in the family room is near impossible, so I decided I deserved to have my own HD TV in the bedroom. After several weeks of reading every review I could find. (I am Sony fan so any other brand would really have to standout.) I settled on the Sony KDL-46V4100. I bought it through Amazon on Sunday, Jan. 4 and it was available for Delivery by Wednesday the 7th. The delivery guys were great even helping me move my 300LB 36" Sony Trinitron upstairs to the gameroom. After hooking it to my Dish Network VIP 722 HD receiver I am 100% satisfied. The HD picture is great and SD channels are certainly watchable, the sound is really good, since I do not have a home theater system in the bedroom this was a very important consideration. Now I don't have to share my HD TV. I love it.

We have had the TV for about three weeks and we love it. We purchased a Sony surround sound and Blue Ray disc player from Amazon too and the package is great. We have watched several movies and our local cable HD channels quite a bit and we are all very impressed. I dont know how you cold get a better picture than what we have. The TV is in a 15X21 room and I sit about 13 feet from it. It looks like an 8X10 glossy on the wall. I am extremly happy with this purchase and would recomend this TV to any other 52 year old folks out there.
