This is the perfect size for my 4 year old to wear around her neck and listen to all her music. It has good sound quality and I love how it can charge itself and the ipod at the same time with the cord it comes with to plug into the computer. The speakers work well in their original position or spread out.

We bought this item for our daughter's 7th birthday. She was getting really bad about listening with the earbuds at a high volume and so this was our solution. This works out perfectly. There was always a chance she would leave her Shuffle somewhere or drop it without knowing it, but this isn't a problem now. The speaker system has a neck strap and (knock on wood) she hasn't lost it yet! The sound is quite good with it being amplified, I've even been known to steal it from time to time.

I bought this for my 4 yr olds birthday gift. It is perfect for her. she can use with or with out head phones, and she never has to take the Ipod out if it. I will be getting the same for my other children soon.

Good speaker for the shuffle, makes it harder to loose and they sound okay. It's a small setup so don't expect Bose quality but it does what it's supposed to and looks good as well.
