We bought this computer for my mother as a Mother's Day present. As she has never owned her very own computer, this gift went over extremely well. I personally own the same model in galaxy black and with a Linux OS but have little to no complaints with either.
The few complaints I have for the XP model are as follows:
1) Some computer windows (not the OS) do not display properly on the small screen (i.e., the print option window - once opened the user must hit enter and hope the "print" button is highlighted. This problem is fixed when using an external monitor and is merely an inconvenience as it only happens to some things in certain situations)
2) The wonderful SD Slot has issues writing to high speed SD Cards and especially those 8 GB and greater. This interesting problem seems to have more to do with either the XP OS or the card reader itself. ASUS Tech Support thinks it's an operator error; however, after reading other wikis on the issue, I have come to find that this is a problem for many other users. I find it interesting that my Linux Eee pc has no problems whatsoever reading and writing to the 16 GB SD Card.
But like I said, these are the only issues I've had (and they are quite marginal). ASUS Tech Support is great, the wikis created by fellow users are fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased with the durability and flexibility our Eee PCs have and will provide!

works for everything i need
Asus Eee PC is exactly what i needed. i have been using mine for around a month now and have no complaints at all. It would be helpful if it were easier to find accessories. i am hoping that the company will make that a priority. It's great for me at 60 years old, my grandkids love it and it is also helpful at work, where it can be put into use in the smallest of spaces.

Asus 4G
Did a lot of research on line before purchasing, so I did not have any surprises. Very satisfied with the 4G. Not much memory left after Windows pre-loaded but adequate for my use
