Great sound for it's size and includes a charger!

The sound is really good and has strong volume for the small zize of the speaker. It easily fits into your bag or pocket for on the go use.
It's great that there is a wall charger included with this product to charge it's rechargeable battery. It also charges your Shuffle if you have it attached. The only downside I notice is that the cover for the Shuffle at the top of the product tends to come off on it's own if you just throw the product in your bag or backpack. It should have some kind of release so that doesn't happen.

Can't believe how much I use it.

That said, as a personal speaker I use it in the kitchen when I cook and at my desk at work. It's perfect when you want to enjoy music and not disturb others. My roommate can't hear it in her room, and my boss can't hear it in his office, yet the sound is perfect in whatever area I'm working in, and it's really nice not to have headphones in.
I still think the price is a little high, but I am *totally* glad I bought it!

Great sound for your shuffle!

You can take it anywhere and the charge lasts even longer than the 15 hours. Great to charge both speaker and shuffle at the same time. I highly recommend this little speaker with huge sound

Exactly what was needed

He is always asking for music, which use to mean changing a cd every 45 minutes. This product along with the Ipod shuffle is great for both my brother and my parents well-being. The sound is very clear and can go pretty loud. I highly recommend it.

Great little external speakers!
(4 out of 5) by H.A.S. on Oct 2, 2008 (Bellevue, WA)Purchased the TravelSound i50 for my brother with Cerebral Palsy...rather than have him driving his wheelchair around with earbuds, he can simply hook the TravelSound i50 onto himself and still enjoy his iPod...volume control is easy for him to manage with his limited use fingers.
Surprisingly for such a small device the sound quality was rather impressive.
