Cheap Product

(1 out of 5) by Jeffrey Neufeld on Oct 28, 2009 (Mars! Outer space)
Ok so this is about my 4th or 5th mp3 player, and by far the cheapest. Now maybe i just got a default, but it was brand new still in the package. First i charged it,when it was done i went to use it and it shut off on me..I charged it again and then it froze and wouldn't do a thing. The battery says it lasts 8 hours i used for about 3 and it was almost dead. It's hard to use and again it just feels cheaply made.
I bought a refurbished sansa for the same price, i've had it for about 2 weeks and it works perfect, the quality is by far superior. It has 20 hours of battery life and is easy to use..I wouldn't recommend buying this product at all..Very cheaply made and just a bad MP3 player..

Daughter's Favorite

(4 out of 5) by Randy O'Brien on Apr 15, 2009 (Nashville, TN)
I bought the I-Pod rip-off first...2 G...but when my daughter saw the touch screen model, she had to have that one. Works fine, of course problems with Apple I-Tunes, but that's to be expected. Amazon and Walmart are better sources for music.

Coby MP705

(5 out of 5) by M. Webster on Apr 12, 2009 (N.C.)
I bought this mp3 for my daughter as a replacement for the one she had lost. She loves it. Everything works fine. I would recommend this to anyone young or old.

COBY MP3 PLAYER

(4 out of 5) by Robert A. Jenkins on Mar 23, 2009
Coby you've made a great product when you combined the use of a Mp3 player and the use of a FM radio in one (1) unit. "GREAT JOB". I use my MP3 player/ Radio daily and find it simple to use and easy to hold. I am totally satisfied with this product and am happy with the priceing of most Coby products.

Just the MP3 Player for people who want large capacity at little cost

(5 out of 5) by D. Johnson on Feb 19, 2009 (Wheaton, Illinois USA)
I bought this MP3 player for my daughter, who has had a number of MP3 players before this one. Her children have MP3 players as well, but they are not as nice, not as durable and have no where near the capacity of this unit. Yet I paid MORE for them than I did for this one.

The only negative I have found is that it doesn't support Audible, com (filetype .aa) files.
But since my daughter doesn't subscribe to Audible that isn't really a problem at all.
If you are an Audible subscriber you need to keep this in mind.

I am a subscriber but I keep a separate MP3 player that supports Audible for listening to Audible books while I have a second MP3 player with a much larger capacity for playing MP3 books, MP4 movies and MP3 music.
That seems to give me the best of both worlds since MP3 players that support Audible generally cost more than those that do not support Audible.

A 2MB Sansa MP3 player would cost from $100-130 while this Coby MP705 with 2 MB of memory costs about $42.69 from Amazon currently.

So if you don't need Audible support or have a second MP3 player that supports Audible, this machine is a great buy for a slick looking, thin light and durable device.
