I have this coupled with a WGA600N and at 30 feet I only get 39% signal strength. Not what I would expect from wireless n.
Great product, useless software
I switched from straight RDP to VPN for work, and discovered that my Belkin router wouldn't support VPN. I had no idea the quality of the router made so much difference! Everything on our home network, including the wired connections, works much better with this router. It's a terrific product.
It came with an install program with an "install first" warning, like many USB products. It is not necessary, and does not work at all. All it ever gave me was a "not connected to internet" message, whether I was connected with the new router or the old one. So my suggestion is, by the router, configure it yourself, ditch the support disk.

Reliable
Looks like installing DD-WRT makes this device even better, but I am not having any problems with this refurbished device, so I haven't bothered upgrading. No dropped connections and no problems with VPN (I use it to get to work) that I was seeing with two different D-Link devices I tried before this, so I'm sold on Linksys for a while
Not a good refurb
I thought a refurbished product from a name brand vendor would be a good bet. The unit did not recognize my pc connection and the trouble shooting guide indicated a defective unit. I am totally disappointed. I bought another brand and new.
Works Flawlessly
Pros: Set up easy. I set it up manually and not with the wizard. The wizard was confusing to me.
Cons: Only got 27 Mb/s throughput. Of course I was going through two walls and was approximately 60 feet away from the router.
