Great echnology

(5 out of 5) by S. Obeius on Apr 21, 2008 (Saint Lucia)
Got this cause CDs for me are getting old. Just carry your SD card aroung and change the music as you feel like. The bluetooth far exceeded my expectations. Totally great quality. Easy to use and great features. Only improvements i look forward to are more RCA outputs (at least 2) including sub preamp out and EQ control for the mids. Totally great buy. Bye bye CDs.

Many Flaws

(2 out of 5) by luke on Nov 11, 2009 (Appleton, WI)
I have had this deck for almost 2 years now. I read the reviews before I purchased...most of them were critical of this unit. I ended up buying it anyways because of the blue-tooth functionality. Boy was that a mistake. Here are my reasons:

1. No AM tuner.
2. FM Tuner gets TERRIBLE reception.
3. Bluetooth works ok, but with the two phones I have used with it (Motorola and Samsung) if I don't press the answer button within 2 rings the unit displays "ERROR" and locks up.
I will say once the call is connected the sound quality is excellent. Also be careful where you mount the microphone as is easily picks up road noise.
4. The SD card MUST be formatted in the outdated FAT16 format. Why? I have no clue.

This unit would have been great if the engineers would have spent a little more time on this one.

Lacks a subwoofer pre amp

(4 out of 5) by Kevin S. Robertson on May 23, 2009 (Montclair, CA USA)
I've had this deck in my Jeep since 12/2008 and i'm very happy with it. I use the included external mic for Bluetooth communication and it works great. I can only think of 3 possible improvements: add a.m. radio reception; have the sd card slot light up (night time card swaps can be tricky); add a dedicated subwoofer out. I ended up installing a low cost equalizer that had front and subwoofer pre amp outputs, and that did the job of separating the frequencies correctly.

Clarion FB275BT

(5 out of 5) by W. Ricarte on Sep 27, 2008 (Vancouver, BC)
This is an awesome MP3 car deck. It sounds great and looks awesome in the night. It replaced an Infinity deck which only had a CD Player. The Clarion FB275BT does not have a CD Player but that's old technology which has limited songs. With a 2GB SD card, you have more than enough of songs to choose from. I don't have a bluetooth device to test its capability but I'm sure it will be awesome as well. I am extremely satisfied with the look and sound of this excellent car deck. It's a great deal at the current price. Grab one while you still can.

In Stock?... Really?...

(5 out of 5) by B. M. Russell on Nov 12, 2007
this product looks amazing.
however, i guess this is more of a review on the listing. i just think it is funny that crutchfield has this item for sale and listed as "in stock". when in fact i just got a call from them today about how the deck is back ordered and they don't even have an estimate on the date they are going to receive them.

don't you think you should be a little more truthful about your listing? telling people this is actually pre-order doesn't seem too hard to me.
