Great portable surge protector!
(5 out of 5) by delhokie on Jun 8, 2008This is a wonderful product-- 3 plug surge protector and 2 USB charger. I use it with my macbook pro, and IBM Thinkbook, Ipod-- anything. Once nice feature is that the unit swivels so that the orientation of the plug does not create a problem. I recommend it for anyone!!

I've never been so excited about something so cheap!

Blew on first use...
(2 out of 5) by Debt Free on May 22, 2009I received this from Amazon today. Unboxed it, plugged into my wall socked in my home. Proceeded to plug in a Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard to charge. Worked fine. Then I plugged in a Plantronics 510 BT headset, *POP* it blew. Electrical smell everywhere. When it popped, I saw a bright flash inside the unit and the "Protected" light went out.
The manual said this happens when the unit sacrificed itself to protect the electronics plugged into it and to call Belkin for a free replacement.
Strange since I've used many power surge strips in this very outlet and all have been fine. Hopefully Belkin stands behind the product and replaces it free. I owned it for a total of 7 minutes before it blew. Kinda scary...

Great gift for my favorite road warrior!

He has a lot of gadgets, and usually the hotels dont have enough plugs (or the client's sites, the airport, etc. He especially liked the USB slots, since some things require an additional plug for those (like his iPhone or camera). He really enjoyed this gift!
