My only gripe isn't about the product itself, it's the fact that I had to pay nearly $40 just to use all the speakers on a sound card that has a list price of $123. I think it would've been better if it had been included in the original product, with whatever production costs it incurs, rather than selling it as a separate product and pulling more packaging/shipping/handling/profit costs from it. Thus 4 stars instead of 5.

Excellent and very useful kit

Sounds just like my home theater setup

It worked the first time, even with the notebook sound drivers and another sound device's drivers installed. I am using it with the optional 7.1 upgrade kit breakout box that you can plug the multiple speakers into. I am using a set of logitech's 5.1 speakers. The sound is very satisifing.
