This product only worked okay. I had to mess with the controls often to reduce background buzz. The product has an automatic pause when there is silence on the line. This means when you are waiting on hold or there is a pause in conversation the volume booster goes off and you have to say something to turn it back on. The first battery only lasted a couple of months.

Doesn't work with all phones. Check with seller to verify your phone will work with their product

I have owned this little unit for over two years and it works very well. You are able to control both the volume and the tone so that you can remove any "hiss" from the higher frequencies. It is very loud when cranked up. It has a boost function which is even louder - but I haven't even needed to try it. The battery is voice activated to save energy. Runs on an ordinary 9v alkaline battery. The only thing I would have liked better is if it was the color black instead of white.

I bought this for my grandfather so he could hear better on the phone. I turned up the volume and called him from my cell phone. He said "Stop yelling at me!" ;) so it worked quite well. He only needed it at 1/3 volume and seems to like it.
