Cheap and works for most items

It works great for my DVD and PS3, but not so good with my cable box. I am not sure exactly which is at fault, but the TV and cable box work fine without the switch.
I have Samsung TV connected to PS3, DVD player, and Scientific Atlanta box. Everything works great when initially pluged in and I love the IR blaster because I programmed my Harmony remote with the codes JUST IN CASE the auto switching did not work (It does not when leaving the cable DVR on all the time, as expected, but outside of that it is great).
Works great with PS3 and DVD, but cuts in and out on the cable box, the picture will go out and TV shows no signal. After about a minute it comes back on it's own. I ordered a power adapter to see if it would make a difference.
A bit disappointed right now, but will see if the power adapter works. Will post if I am able to figure out adapter polarity since there are zero instructions or indications anywhere in the manual or on the unit. It was a 5 star purchase until the picture started cutting out.

Does the job

It has intelligent priority switching and best of all, it's usable without a power supply (yay, I can skip on another wall wart). It comes with a remote but I'll never need it. Basically, this small unit has just given me 2 extra HDMI ports on my Sharp TV. Simple and elegant.

if you need an HDMI switch then stop looking

They did a great job with this one and you don't even have to connect power to it. it comes with a remote control but you don't need it. all you do is turn one devise on and if you want to turn another device on then just turn it on and it will automatically switch to that devise and you don't even have to turn the other one off for it to switch. It also has a button that allows you to select the devise you want but I haven't even touched it yet. Highly Recommend this Switch to anyone who is looking for a quality switch and not sacrifice picture quality.
