Works Perfectly

(5 out of 5) by A. J. Katz on Jan 21, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA USA)
Works exactly as it says it will. Perfect visual quality.

So i live in a small apartment and i have a 22inch widescreen monitor for my computer with only one hdmi input. I wanted my xbox elite to use it also. So i have the computer hooked up through one hdmi on the switch and the xbox through another. The switch will automatically detect when my xbox is turned on and switch the monitor to the xbox. As soon as i shut off the xbox it switches back to my pc. I could not ask for a better product, especially for the price.

Works...but............

(4 out of 5) by John T. Desantis on Dec 31, 2008 (Youngstown, Ohio)
This device works, somewhat for me. I'm trying to feed a Sony DVD Player and a WD Media Player to my Projector using a HDMI to M1 Cable. The DVD is recognized OK. When I turn on the Media Player it sometimes doesn't get recognized. Have to unplug the HDMI Cable from the switch and plug it back in. However, not all the time. So, I guess it's a bit erratic.

I'm wondering about a comment in S. Rajagfslan's review about "lower priority input" I didn't see anything in the Manual regarding priority. If someone can clue me in I'd appreciate it.

You can E-Mail me instead of Posting another review. I'd prefer that. Thanks [..]

stops working after about 45 minutes

(1 out of 5) by J. Lanier on Apr 27, 2009
At first I thought it was my cables; after playing for about 45 minutes, the picture started blinking on and off and then it went totally out. So I switched the cables around and it worked for a few minutes and then the same thing happened. I tried different combinations of cables and the same thing happened with all of the players I hooked up to the switcher. I have another switcher, which is not automatic, and the cables worked fine on it. It did switch automatically, and I was really happy for the first few days; now it does not work well at all.

if you need an HDMI switch then stop looking

(5 out of 5) by victor on Nov 25, 2009 (los angeles, california)
This HDMI switch is amazing and the price is just right. I'm very picky about picture quality but this product works great. They did a great job with this one and you don't even have to connect power to it. it comes with a remote control but you don't need it. all you do is turn one devise on and if you want to turn another device on then just turn it on and it will automatically switch to that devise and you don't even have to turn the other one off for it to switch. It also has a button that allows you to select the devise you want but I haven't even touched it yet. Highly Recommend this Switch to anyone who is looking for a quality switch and not sacrifice picture quality.
