I recently purchased a Sony Bravia 720p LCD HDTV and needed an upscaling DVD player to go along with it. I went with this player mainly because I already have an extensive collection of multi disk movies and television series on standard DVD. The Picture and sound are excellent and I would consider them damn near HD quality and in all likelihood the next best thing to a blu ray player. This is worth every cent of the money especially for people like myself with extensive collections of standard DVDs, and who wish to wait on purchasing a blu ray player until there is a more extensive, reasonably priced selection of them to choose from. This will probably be the last Non Blu ray DVD player that I'll ever own.

Excellent Buy
I love DVD changers that I bought this changer to go with my other Sony DVD changer. The only thing I am disappointed in is the time it takes to load a DVD. My other one does not take long. Both have a little noise when the DVD's are changing; however, it is not that irrating. I would definitely recommend this product to all my family and friends.

so far so good
So far so good. I don't understand why there isn't more 5-disk players out in the market. Why have 1-disk player when you can play 5-disk. I had a RCA that rotated the disk. I like this better. Flat changer instand a stack changer.

Get them while you can
There are no words in the English language to express my admiration for this product it worked right outa the box plays movies flawlessly and the 5 disk is great for movie nights and for TV shows, Well done Sony.!!!!!!!!!
Cheap player
I bought the player in November and it has alrady died on me. It played fine while it was working but for longevity sake, not a great product.
