Sony DVP-NC800H/B DVD Changer

Other than making sure it worked, I have not had much experience. The picture looked very good on a Sharp LCD Hi Def TV. My only complaint is that it is very slow loading and changing discs. Other than that, it seems like a good buy.

Cannot Play International DVDs
(2 out of 5) by H. Yunis on Aug 20, 2008The DVD is ok but does not allow to play Mexican DVDs, even when they are not copyrighted to begin with.
I called Sony support and they said that all their DVD have region restriction enforced. They indicated that there are 6 regions in the world, and if I need to play DVDs from any of them, I need to buy Sony DVD player for each one of them.
It is sad to see Sony restricting what DVDs I can play in the USA. They are like BIG BROTHER. They are forgetting that they are in the DVD Player business, and this is non-sense.
