SUPERB SOUND QUALITY

Apr 3, 2008 - By C. Payne

I wanted some good headphones for traveling by air, and when i am riding the train into work and what not. A co-worker had a pair of the BOSE headphones that were nice, but too pricy for me. I picked up a pair of these bad boys and they are just as good as if not better than the BOSE!!

No more listening to unwanted conversation or jet engines on the plane, screaming children and loud cell phones on the train, and now i don't have to listen to my co-worker brag about how great his headphones are.....

I really like them and use them a lot at work--totally worth the price (which is stcheaper than a lot of others).

Great Headphones - Better than Bose

Mar 27, 2008 - By T. Wheatley

I was very surprised at how comfortable these headphones are! They are much more comfortable than an older pair of noise canceling headphones that I have.

The noise canceling feature works great. In fact, I tested these headphones against a friend's Bose headphones that sell for about $300, and the Alteam headphones win hands down.

Features that I like about the Alteam headphones compared to the Bose I tried:

-The Alteam has a volume control on the headphone, the Bose don't
-I can turn off the noise canceling feature on the Alteam and still listen to music (can't do that on the Bose)
-The Alteam headphones don't fully cover my ears which is kind of a toss up because the Bose and other headphones I have (that fully cover my ears) become uncomfortable to wear (for me at least) on a long trip.
-The sound quality was comparable. The Bose was slightly better in this regard but not double the price better.

All around good features:
-The batteries are housed in the headphone itself which is better than the older noise canceling headphones I have that store the batteries in a large box on the audio cord.
-The cable on the Alteam headphones can detach from the ear piece (I guess you'd do this if you want noise canceling without listening to music).
-The headphones are easy to take of and put back on because the cable plugs into only one side.
-The ear pieces can swivel or turn for a better fit.
-The case is sturdy and will protect the headphones if packed in your luggage.

10 out of 10

Jun 3, 2008 - By M Anderson

I got these headphones from a co-worker and I had never heard of the brand before. I was coming off using a pair of shure noise canceling headphones that cost me $150. I thought that those were great headphones until I plugged these bad boys into my i-Pod and started jamming. I literally love these things! Plus in the package you get all of the adapters you will ever need and a very nice headphone pouch for traveling. I let a friend of mine that was an avid listener to his i-Pod and he used the $300 Bose noise canceling headphones listen to these ALTEAM noise cancelers and he couldn't even tell the difference. These are a really great headphone if you want the quality of the expensive guys but you don't want to spend that much. Every time I see somebody with $300 headphones I chuckle a little, knowing that I have the same quality for less than one third of the price!

Better than Bose. What? Its true the Alteams are better than Bose!

Jun 12, 2008 - By C. P. Broadhead

When i fly i get tired of hearing the noise from the airplane and all the bustling around me. I have used my pair of bose and love them, a co- worker had the Alteam brand and i tryed them out, they are just as clear and noise free as the Bose, and a ton cheaper. You really do pay for the name, not the quality with Bose. The Alteam combines both the name, and is reliable and well known, and you get the same/better quality at an affordable price. You ask as i did. Why are they much much cheaper? They are made with the best quality products and built tuff. The company wanted to make it affordable to everyone, and they dont make you pay for the name. They give you the same quality for an affordable price.
