I am very glad I made this purchase. The only negative I find is the illumination can not be turned down low enough. I used some tinting material to make it dim enough so it wouldn't bother me at night but I can still see the time. The speakers sound very good for a clock radio. The alarms, etc. are easy to set-up, the manual is easy to read and follow. I don't plan on using the radio so can't speak as to how well the built in antenna works (the directions say it is built into the power cord). I tested the alarms, everything works properly. 9-volt battery back-up, you supply the battery. It is nice looking as well.
