The best thing that I like about this stereo is the ease of use due to the USB port on the front of the stereo. I like the interface, because it's easy to navigate. I appreciate the pause button, which I seldom see in car stereos. While I would have to agree with the previous review which said that the display is somewhat of a letdown, I personally have no problem seeing what's on display, whether it's day or night. The stereo has a built-in amplifier that provides great sound, even to the worn speakers in my car. I would recommend this stereo to anyone!

Bought this unit because it provided front AUX in for MP3, etc. The ability to deal with USB was a bonus, and I appreciate it more and more. The usability of the buttons is good and becomes more intuitive all the time. The display itself is a bit of a let down. When it is dark, the displayed characters are glaring. When light, the characters do not stand out significantly. Not being "on axis" (straight on) with the display seems to be an issue. If you can deal with that - the unit, its sound and manual interface is very good. Hardware installation is adequately documented and the mounting bracket is good. Really, no regrets.

I read tons of reviews before selecting this stereo. We are completely satisfied with the simplicity of use, the look, the remote, the front USB/I POD access. My Husband says this is the PERFECT head unit, and the sound is awesome by the way!
Easy to install, but with the door chimes and other features that are wired thru the GMC Pickup we installed it in, you need to purchase the correct harness and installation kit for the unit to insure no original features are lost. There is only one thing we would change, and we may not have figured out how to yet... is that the features scroll while in use instead of just displaying the time. Other than that, I got a "Perfect Christmas Present!" from the hubby.... First time ever!! Thanks Panasonic, and Amazon for your compatibility feature on your site which offered me every option for installation, even not knowing what I was doing. We had everything we needed and a perfect fit after 2 hours to accomplish installation. The city commute drive is now 100 times better it's a joy to listen to this stereo!

I love my new CD player. Best I have ever had. However, I found it doesnt read many audio formats on my flash drive, Such As WMA. Also, it take about 3min to read my 16Gig flash drive. I recommend sticking with 2gigs unless you have a long drive and love having your entire computer in your car like I do.

I bought this stereo originally for the USB in front. The one bad thing I didn't know about it before is that, if you have an MP3 (not an iPod) that is over 4gB, you cannot use the USB port. Not sure about connectivity for iPod, because I don't own one.

Flash drives should work great according to the manual. Knowing that, I still would have bought this stereo. It has awesome sound. I have my mP3 player hooked into the AUX port and it sounds awesome. I was skeptical about it, because I've always heard how it can sound worse. Granted, it is not as loud as a CD being played, but still sounds great.

You can change the watts of the stereo amp with the front controls. The controls are super easy to use. The time is easy to change. (Big one for me! :) ) Mute function.

The remote can do all the functions that you get with the buttons on the front, very cool.

If you are buying this stereo, make sure you have decent speakers to it justice.
