Best bang for the buck or maybe at any price

The DNX5120 is great. It sounds great, the video is great, and the navigation is typical Garmin. The install took about 20 minutes of actual labor plus about 40 minutes for the (three) wiring harnesses. Out of the hour total, 40 minutes of the labor and wiring was done in the living room. This was for the DNX5120, BT200 Bluetooth, and PAC SWI-JACK steering wheel control adapter. It is replacing a nuvi 760 I just got three months ago and the factory radio in a 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe. I used a factory double-din Altima dash panel and it the entire install looks like it came from the factory including the retained steering wheel controls. With this car in-dash navigation would have bumped the sticker price from $21,000 to well over $30,000 with the way other packages are required.

Awesome

I have this system in my car, and it's only been a day and I love the thing. It has nearly everthing I was looking for in a stereo. From the seperate settings for each speaker, to the unmentioned subwoofer control ability. I haven't even touched the navigation part of it yet.It sounds great as well! If your looking for an awesome system at an affordable price, LOOK NO FUTHER, you've just found it!!!! You may want the remote too! BUY IT!!!

Great radio do not believe what others are saying probably from pioneer

This is actually the best head unit for the money and has all the features everyones claims without. Update it and the nav. but first learn how to use it and all its features before speaking because if you really want to talk about this stereo own it and know how to use it. If something doesn't work, i'll prove you wrong. The only thing that this doesn't have is voice prompting with exception to the bluetooth feature. All for around $600 stop complaining

Not as advertized

Kenwood DNX5120 6.1-Inch-Wide Double-DIN In-Dash Navigation with USB/iPod Direct Control/DVD Receiver

The installation revealed suprises. I wanted a Bluetooth and XM options for the receiver. So after $109 for Bluetooth and $130 for the XM modules I find out it cannot be installed. Called Kenwood support they said the XM and Bluetooth modules should plug in in a daisey chain in the back of the radio. It does not work. The installation company contacted Kenwood and they said an adaptor box was needed. This product is available from kenwood for another $80. So for each feature beyond the first option an additional box is needed since the radio only supports one option. For a company with a good reputation they do not seem to know how their product works and the radio is not able to be integrated on their adaptor bus.
