I bought these speakers because I need to hear sound effects and youtube videos on my computer, and they were the cheapest pair available. Don't expect to hear nice quality sound, or listen to music through these, because they don't sound great. They are very small, compact and come with a power supply, which is real nice, plus they are cheap ($20).

Pros: Great Look, great price, extra audio input at the front.
Cons: Weak sound.

Bought it for $17 online and like the look very much. Good with both black or silver computers. When connected to my MP3 player (Volume 10 out of 25, that my usual volume for my MP3 player) and volume turned to middle of the speakers, volume was barely hearable. Then tried 15/25, volume and sound quality was ok. When I turned the volume to max, got quite a lot of distortion. When comparing earbuds directly connected to MP3 players with plugged into the speakers, I would say volume was more or less the same. However, I got somewhat 80% of my original sound quality. My primary use for the speaker is to get a little music in my quite office, and my budget is limited, so I go with this one then.

I'm at a loss reading some of the mediocre reviews. I picked up a pair of the Logitech LS11's mainly to have a pair of typical "cheap computer speaker" monitors in the recording studio for checking mix playback. The sub-bass performance on these little gems is surprising, the overall mix balance is flattering, and I can crank them up about to about ~83 dBSPL (about 1/3) before hearing distortion kick in. Maybe it's because I'm driving these speakers from pro rack gear, but I'd buy these again in a second.

I saw this online and in stores, and thought "wow beautiful looking speaker" and since it was Logitech, I also thought it was of good to great quality (I do love their keyboards and mice). Another plus, this was under $20 for the speaker pair...so I thought, what the heck!

Wow, was I wrong about the sound quality! Terrible! Music sounds garbled, as well as voice - everything sounds like it's in a box or through a wall. You cannot get good sound, and I'm highly disappointed.

I guess you really can't just a product by its looks, because these Logitech LS11 speakers look beautiful! I love the modern design and especially the large volume dial and easy to locate headphone/input holes. I also like the colors, black and grey, the light-weight and angle of the speakers.

Too bad about the sound...unusable if you actually enjoy listening to music, tv/movies, etc. NOT RECOMMENDED! Do not buy!

Their only virtues are price and size. Don't expect any thing more than mediocre sound from these. But for the price that's about all you can ask for. The design looks nice but the materials are all very cheap light plastics. This meant that when I wanted to mount them to the bottom of a cabinet by screwing them down and cut up the head phone plug to make it fit my iPhone I didn't feel bad at all. So if you have somewhere that you need sound but a nicer set of speakers would get damaged quickly these are just another option among the typical cheap sets.
