The webcam is excellent for the price. I didn't use the software included with the webcam. I only used the driver (it would have been an easier installation if the driver was in a separate file). I'm using Skype with Windows XP. No problems with the picture or sound (only small problem is if you move too quickly, the picture blurs - I don't know if that's a software or hardware problem). The base isn't designed for a laptop. It doesn't fit tightly on the laptop screen, so you have to balance it on the screen or placed it on a table.

This has been a great product. Easy to install and the picture is awesome. Nice product only paid $25 used in the box but looked and works just like new. I would recommend to anyone who wants a good webcam and doesn't want to spend a lot. Good product.

I paid about $35 for this camera - it's one of the cheapest on the market right now. The picture quality is "so-so" but the sound quality is good and it's so easy to use. Perfect for Skype, and has a very good design.

For the price, this little camera produces an excellent quality picture and the built in microphone works well also. The ability to sit ontop of a flatscreen monitor is a clever design. Obviously the installation went easy enough since it is a Microsoft devise hooking into Windows. Worked with Vista as well as Win7.
