Loved it, but.......

(3 out of 5) by M. Markel on Oct 19, 2009 (Chico,Ca)
This is a very comfortable headset and I loved that about it. I hate headsets that pinch and give me a headache and this one is so easy to wear and the sound is very good. That said, I have ended up purchasing about a dozen of these over the past 5 years. The cords become loose and cause static.I know its the cord going in to the hearset because I can move it and hear the static. I have tried to be very careful with them to stop this from happening but it seems that no matter what I do, this still happens. I do get about 6 months on each one and I always order more than one as they are sometimes out of stock and I dont want to have to do without while I wait for my order.
Overall, its a good ( and cheap!)headset for as long as it lasts and way better than any of the others I have found.

I would buy

(5 out of 5) by Gregory S. Morton on May 9, 2009 (Florida)
I have never owned a headset for any of my phones before so bare that in mind when reading this. I love this headset. Light-weight. Cheap. having stereo sound makes it easy for my deaf @ss to hear the conversation. No more kinked necks. I plugged this into my Uniden cordless phone and it just worked. I would buy this again. Hope this helps.

Headset is great but the mic is on the left side.

(4 out of 5) by C. Allard on Jan 11, 2009 (Florida)
Overall the headset is great. I had to replace a previous Uniden headset that suddenly started having static sounds that I purchased a couple of years ago. This HS915 model has a crisp almost echoey sound, but the sound is very clear. I like the behind the head part of the headset as you can wear it while cleaning house and will have no fear of it falling off your head while bending over! The only drawback is I am right-handed but the mic is on the left side. This is my first head set ever that has had a left-sided mic only and due to the design with the behind the head head-band you can't switch it. Guess it'll just take some getting used to.

Great headset

Don't know why this isn't a more popular item. Mic works very well- don't need to yell. And when it's windy in Manhattan, friends on the other end barely hear the fuzz. I can actually hear better through the ear piece than from my treo's own speaker. I travel with it every single day- if it ever broke due to this habit, I'd buy a new one from Amazon soon as I got home.

GOOD BUY!

I'm ordering this headset to replace the same model I've used on a regular basis for 5 years. Finally quit working... but for what I paid for them, I was thrilled with 5 years (and MANY hours of use).
