I'm pretty happy with the sound quality of a somewhat compact speaker system. I wish Samsung had a Blu-ray disc system rather than the normal DVD setup that's built in. I haven't noticed any RF interference in the wireless subwoofer. I bought the system at Costco for $349.99 if you want to save some money.
Works well, but....
I bought this a few months ago and the sound is great. I read some prior reviews regarding the bass, and it is adjustable -- you can even disable the subwoofer off. The only problem I had was that the remote stopped working properly about a month after I got it. It would turn my samsung t.v. on/off, but would not control any of the speaker/dvd functions. I contacted Samsung and they sent a new remote in about two weeks or so (give or take). The new remote didn't work either. So, I contacted Samsung again, and they arranged to have me ship the unit to a repair facility. They emailed me a ups shipment label, which saved me shipping costs, although I still had to buy a box, which costs about $35.00 (its a big piece). I just received the speaker back after about 1.5 weeks, and it seems to work fine now. Bottom line, the speaker works well -- the sound is great and the movie quality is impressive -- but beware of faulty remotes. No complaints about the service other than having to pay for the box.
Great hardware, poor software
I bought the ht-x810 beacause I needed a clean and simple setup and thats what I got. I mainly use it to play music/movies from a a 500GB external 2.5 HD using the USB feature. Video and sound quality is good but there are alot of annoyances:
- Documentation isn't very complete : whats the max disk size it can read? (seems to be 250GB FAT partitions max), what's the max divX bitrate can it read (over 2500kbps it freezes completely at some point in the movie), etc.
- The interface is very basic and limited : only first few characters from the filenames are displayed, no file browsing while music is playing, no shuffle mode, etc. Sometimes when I start it, the interface just freeze and I need to restart.
- The dvd player mechanism is very slow and seems fragile - hope it will keep working ...
This home theater could be much better with a new firmware but it still does the essentials pretty good.

samsung sound bar ht-x810t/xaa
I baught the Samsung sound bar at Costco. I did a little research and I was almost thinking of getting the Vizio sound bar . But when I got to Costco they did not have the Vizio sound bar. They did have 3 brands in stock. I ended up with the Samsung. I paid [...] wich was more than I wanted to spend but I did not realize that there was a DVD player in the bar. So I'm very happy with that. The sound bar is real easy to hook up once you figure out a few things. The sound is real good. The bass is a little heavy but thats O'k. The real nice thing is you can hide the wireless Subwoofer under an end table and is does not have to be in direct sight. Ohh and it's real easy to hook up the wall mount.

Great
Great sound system. We recently purchased one of the new LED Samsung TV's. This works great with it. The bass is a bit loud, so we had to go into the menu and change that. Other than that, it's a great DVD player as well. I don't think anything can get any higher quality than this.
