Although while listening to music the sound is not the best, mainly due to the rear wireless speakers. The sound from the rear speakers is very distorted sounding. This system would be better if you could do away with the wireless and run wires to the rear speakers for better sound quality. I think this is by far the best looking system out there.
Nice for the price

Keisic on May 7, 2009Decent sound and really easy to setup...took me about 35 minutes from start to finish...but dont expect to watch crisp 1080p vids...the picture quality is really lacking and I had to incorporate my toshiba 1080p upconverter dvd player into system with another hdmi cable and optic cable and optic splitter to get what I wanted...but for the price I paid Im satisfied with the minimal effort I had to put into it.
good surround sound

Set up was easy and the sound is good. iPod dock and on screen controls for iPod are great to have but...The machine lists things in alphabetical order. Therefore, songs don't play in the order they actually appear on the album and if you browse by artist or album you may be hitting the scroll button a lot if the name starts with a "w" or something like that since it's at the bottom of the list. Holding down the scroll button does not do a rapid scroll either. So if the iPod navigation was a little better it would have been 5 stars.

This is a good full-featured 5.1 home theatre system. I particularly like the wireless rear speakers. To be certain, there are no wires from the main unit to the back speakers, but there are wires that run from the rear speaker amp to each rear speaker. The speakers are small but deliver excellent sound and a decent sub-woofer, though not as powerful as some might like. I particularly like the fact that the main unit has a optical digital cable in port so you can play surround sound tv shows on it. It is an excellent value for the money.

We were extremely happy with the value and the back speakers hooked to a wireless box so we didn't have to run the wires from the front. The ipod integration is just like using the ipod itself and the sound is perfect. I would definitely recommend this surround sound to anyone.
