A great emergency tool

I gave 10 of these radios as gifts this year (in all colors). I'm an American Red Cross volunteer, and this radio is always in my go bag for deployments.

emergency radio

Lacks one basic function

It has no alert function to turn on and broadcast emergency warnings! So it is a mistake to call this an "emergency radio" even if it is endorsed by the American Red Cross.

handy little gadget
