Perfect for normal users

This is a perfect product. The only issue i had with it is that it support a limited range of USBs, so you might get a compatible on for this audio.

XPlod the value

(5 out of 5) by J. Holland on Apr 13, 2009 (Nevada)
The XPlod unit is EXTREMELY wonderful for the price. I previously owned a Sony version of the XPlod without the USB front input in my Prelude which I recently sold. I just purchased a replacement car and needed a new stereo. I researched every possible head unit/receiver and concluded by purchasing the XPlod version with the built-in "Loud" feature. This is the unit I picked! This unit is around a hundred green-backs and is the leader in the race against other more expensive systems. This has not only CD and 3 FM/2AM bands but also has the AUX input and USB in the front. This unit comes with a remote and everything works. I purchased this unit, ordered an adapter wiring harness to go from OEM wires to standard stereo receiver wiring and plugged it in. I soldered the wiring (between the two harnesses) and the taped around the soldered connections. I checked the prices at Wally-world and this is by far the best price on any similar receivers regardless of the brand-name. I am extremely happy with this unit.

Great Receiver

Great receiver, arrived timely and well packaged. Makes a huge difference in the sound in my 2002 Toyota, even though I didn't change out any of the factory speakers.

REG sony receiver 08

Product was as expected, and came faster than scheduled. No issues with payments/trasaction. A suggestion to manufactuer or seller is to suggest installers how to adapt connections to different car model's wiring by using standard "conectors" found even online. I did not know that, it would've facilitate the wiring.

Great stereo

(5 out of 5) by H. Cheung on Jul 23, 2008
This Sony Xplod CDX-GT420 is very worth the money. For about $100 you can get a USB and Aux outlet with mp3 playback. Sony is reliable and i recommend this product to anyone who loves using USB flashdrives. You can play thousands of songs easily with this feature. Sound is great also! For the price and reliability, this product cannot be beat.
