Highly Recommend

I never imagined how useful having a cordless kettle would be until I spent a year in England. Every single one of my friends there had one, and I quickly learned why. They're one of the most useful kitchen top small appliances out there.
If you drink tea, or press-pot (French press) coffee, you MUST have one of these. It virtually eliminates the nasty scale you end up with from microwaving water, and is much more convenient than boiling water in a pan on the stove. A simple flick of the on-switch and you are good to go in about a minute.
If you've ever left a tea pot on to boil water and forgotten about it only to come back and find that all the water has boiled off and you've come dangerously close to burning down your house, this is great for you. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, it automatically shuts off, preventing any big problems.
This cleans out very nicely with white vinegar. Mix about half water and half vinegar and leave overnight, then boil a full pot of water to get rid of the vinegar smell and you get rid of all of the scale. Or, if you're in a hurry, turn on the kettle with the vinegar mixture and everything will be gone in about a minute (although it does make the kitchen smell more vinegar-y when you heat it up).
The cordless option is wonderful because you don't have to worry about the cord knocking anything over, or having to remember to plug and unplug like you do with a hot-pot.
You won't regret having one of these.

This cordless kettle is one of my favorite kitchen appliances. What a time saver, it boils super fast and is so user friendly... just depress the lever and you have piping hot water in under 60 seconds. Well worth the money.
