Very, very bad

It played exactly 6 dvd from region 2 pefectly. Played some region 1 great also (about a dozen of them). Then the picture became so grainy, it gave me a headache to look at it. I have a cd player/recorder from the same brand, same story: all sort of problem. It does not read, it keep C.Ds trapped, it's a real pain to deal with. I swore I would never, ever buy a Philips piece of gear again. The ones I have, I taught them how to fly. Truly: very unreliable!
