This is a great bag and certainly gets the job done as far as protecting your laptop and holding a number of other objects. The only complaints i have are with the pockets.

1) There are only two of them with zippers, and they are small so you can only put a few small things into them. It would be nice for a few more interior pockets that have a little more protection from bumps and scrapes.
2) The side pockets, where you could put a cell phone (or similar sized device), have too big of an opening even when locked to ensure things stay put. If the device falls over, it is possible that my iphone could fall out, so I don't risk it, and those pockets will go unused 'til i find something else that can appropriately fit into them.
3) There is an open mesh pocket under the flap that can hold a few small objects, but it doesn't have an elastic mouth, so there is a possibility objects can fall out if the bag tilts or falls the wrong way.

Other than that, it's a great bag for the price. The interior compartment is spacious and can hold a number of other items without issue.

I've had this bag for over three months now, and its been an excellent bag so far, sturdy and versatile. Its a messenger bag but yet I manage to cram a lot of stuff into it. It can hold my laptop, power cord and adapter as well as my gloves, scarf, cap,a couple of notebooks, calculator and other miscellany comfortably. I can use it to even hold my regular college stuff along with my swimming gear(shorts, goggle case, cap and a thin towel), if I don't bring the laptop along.

The compartments are roomy and well placed, giving me easy access to pens and stuff. The strap is easy to adjust and is wide enough not to press into my shoulder. I even used the bottle opener on the strap just for the heck of it. In all, a comfortable, all purpose messenger bag.

This bag will hold my computer, which is a 15.4 inch, two to three textbooks and alot of misc. stuff in the pockets. Very good quality also.

What can I say? Great Price. Great Bag. High quality material that just looks awesome. Strap is strong and connected to the bag so you never have to worry about it breaking. I put my laptop, several book, all my accessories, games, water jug... It holds a ton, holds up strong, and looks teriffic. 200% satisified!

A couple minor cons: I figured, like every other messenger bag I'd ever seen this would have a pocket on the back and a handle so I didn't even look. It has neither of these. The other con is that despite it's size, it's lacking in organizational parts like pockets, zippered sections, etc. Like the pen pocket is wide enough for 3 or 4 pens but they only put two holes... None of these cons make the bag unusable but they would have been nice.

Pros: Fairly large bag, solid metalwork parts and, most of all, stylish. The gray canvas looks awesome and Case Logic has like 3 or 4 bags like this. Any of them would be good for painting or stenciling on some custom artwork. I got one with a little art already on there since it might be awhile before I decide on something to put on.

In short: A great stylish bag that has a few cons some people might not like.
